This Singer 401a arrived as described, actually performs much better than expected. It was properly lubricated and I used it for an entire afternoon without any issues. In fact so far this is the most trouble FREE Singer sewing machine I have ever used. Even though the initial cost was a little higher, it was well worth it. Thank You.
