The previous two I ordered for the rear wheels were tough to get on, but eventually went on with a few strong taps from the palm. After removing the metal clip insert, (these were not present on the originals back in 1984), the caps finally went on. Poor communication on seller's part. Reached out to them via Ebay to see if there were any other solutions, but no response. Typical in this day and age.
