With a male to male component cable and BNC male to RCA female adapters connecting it to my PVM was relatively painless. 480p looks absolutely beautiful through this device. The 3D printed shell is high quality and having both RCA and optical audio out is convenient. Compared to more expensive OEM solutions this component adapter is an excellent alternative. Wouldn't hesitate to do business with this seller again. Thank you!

Xbox connector feels solid, VGA and RCA ports fit BlueRigger and HD Retrovision cables perfectly. 3D-printed case protects internals and feels sturdy. Picture is clean on my HD CRT with no artifacts or ghosting, even through a powered switch. Excellent build, top value versus pricier options, and I don’t think there’s a better device on the market.

Can't tell about the 5.1 surround sound yet (the rubber band to the disk port broke on my "new" Xbox on day one). But I hear the well known sound of the Xbox system. Just a heads up, the plug for blue cable may not fit, if the kable have a thick plug. You either have to have a good grip in the plug, or use a sharp knife and cut a little bit on the one side of it in the plastic. Besides that the adapter works good.
