Not sure what Minolta did, but maybe there are multiple 28mm MD lens versions. Seller was a little obnoxious when I queried. Net refund was so poor ( 20%) wasn't worth shipping back bc ebay required me to pay shipping. On the + side, seller gave a slight discount for original shipping bc I'd placed 2 orders on same day, but shipping was still pricey. Other hood in this order worked OK.
