Notes
(2-LP set) One of the first Broadway musical scores to be overtly jazz-influenced was Leonard Bernstein's West Side Story, a tale of rival street gangs in the inner city. In 1962, pianist Oscar Peterson put his light-swing signature on the already popular score, making it, in the words of one critic, "a delight to hear again" and earning him a Grammy nomination. Originally released in 1962

Item arrived in new condition-as described. There was a crease on the bottom corner-which was a bit disappointing for an item over $100, but it might have happened in transit so I can't hold it against the seller. It was the lowest price I could find this item so I was glad for that (more than I've ever paid for a record-but that's cos of its apparent rarity). Shipping was delayed so it took a little longer than expected but shipping was free so I don't complain. Positive overall-thanks!
