Firstly, the item does not come with power cord or hdmi, like the pucture shows. The description does say "dock only", so that's on me. Still, this is a deceptive practice. Secondly, this item clearly IS NOT an official Nintendo product. It works like it should, but it is clearly a knock off product using Nontendo manufacturing designs. The hdmi port is too close to the body of the dock, making the fit for the cord very tight. The actual docking mechanism is crooked inside, so another tight fit
