Buyer beware. The remnant leather looks great, but it is not 8-9 oz leather. I took it to a leather store for a second opinion and they gauged it as 3.2 oz. Way thinner than a real 8-9 oz hide. What looked like a good deal for thick leather wasn't. The only saving grace is that I can try to use this for a different project.
