However, you might try shipping such delicate items rolled in a bit of cardboard, secured by tape within the padded envelope. My spoon arrived somewhat bent. Such a cost-effective measure would have prevented that. Still, I am happy with my purchase. It even arrived enclosed in a small mesh bag, puckered with a ribbon drawstring at the top.
