The packaging was good. There is a small area that has very light power coating to where you can see through. Wouldn't be a issue if it was the bottom part or the back side, but it is right on top of the mount for the brake caliber. Would be less of an issue if it were on the left side and how the bike sits on the kickstand. But it is on my right side an points right up for the world to see. Ended up with a blimshed part but paid full price.
