Michael Garland has written many books for young readers. This one has so many beautiful illustrations made from buildings, tools, and other mechanical objects--including the characters themselves! It showcases the many varied and important occupations there are for young readers to choose. Every job is important as it keeps our communities running smoothly. It's amazing how the illustrations brought out the gorgeous patterns in every day objects. So creative! - Lin, Verified Purchaser, I loved reading this book with my elementary school children.
