I fish mostly saltwater so not sure how long it will last but I'd buy again considering price. The inside of the clamping part is all metal and they will be attached to my poling platform. I don't wanna mess that up by clamping down on it and scratching or gouging it so I added camper shell foam tape to the insides of the rod holder clamps so they dont mess it up.
