I remember, as a kid, going to this Dime Store, and buying 3 little turtles, which I named "Dot, Blot & Forget-Me-Not!" When they died, I wrapped them up in Mom's dish rag, and buried them under the tree on the hill out back! Great memories of my childhood! Tha KS so much!

Fascinating photo from an era when thoughts of space travel dominated the design of transportation which would never leave the ground. Except in movies.
