the hose works well. I disconnected the Clutch Hose from the Brake Master Cylinder and set up a separate reservoir for the clutch. This solved the intermittent low clutch pedal when after long distance driving in the mountains the brake fluid would heat up and that brake fluid was shared with the clutch. This solve the problem of the jetta having a hard time going from 1st to second gear when the car was hot after 120 miles of mountain driving
