I’m happy to leave five stars because this is exactly as described. Sadly, (as I now notice someone else has said) it does little to hide the red glow of 850nM IR LEDs which is what I bought it for and hoped it would do as it was close to 800nM cut-off. A problem I have never solved and perhaps won’t without prohibitively expensive narrow band pass filters. Perhaps that’s why it’s called Infra-Red. There will always be a ‘red’ element to that part of the spectrum?
