The Sand Master 71225 combines a 12-inch sand filter with a pump for above-ground pools up to 9,600 gallons. We have had a pool for 5 years and I know it is all connected correctly. It does have a few leaks even with it being put together correctly but I have been able to stop the leaks using gorilla tape. It does not have good pressure for the output water at all. It definitely is not cleaning the pool correctly and it isn't even a big pool.

Replacing small summer waves pump and is just amazingly better than the original filter. Replacing the paper filters daily was horrible an ineffective. Pool has been crystal since install. Takes 40~ lbs of sand and build and install is quite intuitive instructions not needed. The unit comes with a block so sand doesn’t go down the lateral tube. And comes with winterizing plug as well. screw driver is all I needed. Very happy

Would recommend, way better than the standard pump with filers.
