I find this to be an unnecessary amount of time on the surface, but am not aware of potential mitigating factors. As long as the decals are accurate, high quality resolution, and with a strong oil and gas resistant adhesive I will be pleased. Otherwise I will most likely end up pursuing a refund for the item.
