It works great on my newer Toyota radio, I need to figure how to connect it to the CD changer port on my 1993 Toyota now! It also has 5+7 pinout but the black connector is much smaller on these early models. It fits perfectly on the more common white 5+7 connector of my 2001 Camry radio.
