This base is awesome! My back story why this base is just what I needed. I had purchased a Singer 185 K in the original plastic case. Unfortunately the seller didn’t understand the fragility of 66 year old plastic. It was poorly packed with more than enough space in the box for a 40 lbs all metal machine to make powder of the case and base. The machine arrived in good working order, thankfully. That is why this bases is perfect for me. Thank you…great seller!
