Code P1491 kept popping up, and after replacing about $300 worth of parts, I said the hell with this. Wired the toggle switch to the battery and then to the fans. Just have to turn the fans on manually when the temperature gauge goes over halfway up. Definitely an old-school repair, but the fans work fine now!
