I mean it distorts quickly for the described 200 watts at 8 ohms.I use the Rockville EQ and it distorts. I use the amp without and it distorts before reaching substantial power. I use a cd player. I use the tuner out of a 50 year old Realistic stereo direct to Auxiliary and it sounds clear with fair power. I guess I will have to buy a Crown 300 amp or something because this is not working. I used Rolling Stones Original Honky Tonk Women.
- l***e (335)- Feedback left by buyer.More than a year agoVerified purchaseRockville SingMix 5, 2000 amplifier is 4 ohms that can be hookup 4 speakers with 4 ohms on both channels A & B , But if you have to hookup four 8 ohms speaker will not work like 4 ohms speaker, that’s will be no sound on the right channel A & B, To make it work for all speakers, you have to cross both speakers together then plug in the Left channel only on A & B ( 2 pairs of 8 ohms speakers ) that’s only way to make is work for 8 ohms speaker, see my photos below, 4 ohms speaker 2 pairs L&R
