The product does work, but I'd only recommend these types of enclosures in your have TRAY-type drives and not SLOT drives.I bought this for a SLOT-type optical drive, it didn't fit correctly. Ejecting the disc hits the enclosure, and the drive has trouble pulling-in the disc due to friction of the slot "cover" material. I will run this outside of the case since the IDE-USB board works.
