My guy (or gal) here must have KNOWN what they were selling, and/or just care about all their packages, because the wrapped the item--AND its collector's grade box--in about 293 layers of heavy foam, before packaging in an oversized box. It arrived in excellent conditions, as described, and at a great value for being as-new, 50+ years old. A++!
