This DECT headset covers your left ear with a comfortable cushion that's designed to eliminate ambient noise. Designed for daily use, this lightweight device includes a full-size cup. This cup feature adds very little weight to the Plantronics wireless headset, which weighs in at 72 grams. The boom microphone is completely adjustable as you move it close to your mouth. When you speak into the CS510 model, the noise-canceling technology begins with Digital Signal Processing, or DSP, to enhance the voices. Everyone will hear your voice with crisp clarity as this over-the-head wireless phone lets you take center stage.With the adjustable band, you can tweak the fit of the headset to suit your liking. Just slide the plastic band to the side, and it will lock into place. Users can answer, end, or mute any calls on this monaural phone accessory by pressing the buttons on the full-size cup. You can also match these Plantronics wireless headsets to an optional lifter that's attached to a traditional phone. The headset model will activate the call at the handset so that you don't have to be at your desk to start a conversation.If the volume gets too high or low on your company phone, just press the up or down button on the Plantronics unit to control those frequencies. You should be able to hear a person in the office while listening to a client on the vinyl-covered earpiece. The opposite side of the band should rest gently on your head with the triangularly shaped plastic rest that's designed for all-day comfort.Its wireless design allows you to walk up to 350 feet away from the desk to perform other tasks, consult with a co-worker, or grab a drink while continuing to communicate with your caller. For even more productivity, you can conference with three other Plantronics series headsets so that everyone is on the same page. This type of headset is compatible with most major desktop phone systems, including configurations with Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) connectivity.When the Plantronics series headsets aren't in use, they can rest in the sleek dock. The ear cup rests in the dock so that these accessories don't pick up dust or lose their shape. With the band standing upright with a properly docked headset, you can grab these units on the first ring of the phones. Don't worry about the headsets falling off the docks either because there's magnetic power to keep them steady.
