Produktinformation

Die EOS 500N von Canon kam 1996 auf den Markt und ist eine 35-mm-Spiegelreflexkamera, die auch als Kit zusammen mit einem Objektiv von 28 bis 80 mm angeboten wird. Das Modell kann entweder vollautomatisch, halbautomatisch oder komplett manuell betrieben werden. Für den händischen Modus ist ein manueller Fokus vorhanden und die Automatikvarianten werden von einem Autofokus unterstützt. Neben Zeitautomatik und Blendenautomatik ist auch eine Programmautomatik vorhanden, die neben der Blendensteuerung auch die Bedienung der Verschlusszeit im Bereich zwischen 30 s und 1/2000 s übernimmt. Mit dieser schnellen Zeit, die vom elektronisch gesteuerten Schlitzverschluss mit elektromagnetischem Sanftauslöser computergenau ausgelöst wird, sind auch Fotos von sich schnell bewegenden Objekten möglich. Ein eingebauter Motor sorgt für den Filmtransport und ist auch für die Serienbildfunktion mit einem Bild pro Sekunde verantwortlich. Die kompakte EOS 500N ist eine Kamera für das Kleinbildformat 35 mm und wiegt 550 g.
