    This New England band's big break came when they landed a spot opening for Limp Bizkit. Bizkit's Fred Durst was so impressed he signed them to his new production company and got them signed to their label, Flip Records. Staind's major label debut is aggressive and dissonant, but also hypnotic and subtle. Described as "a maelstrom that's balanced by moments of beauty," the album's 1st single, "Just Go," is a molten groove that was already most-added at college radio.
