The phone app shows distorted video on other resolution settings which is where the app sets it by default. This made me think the camera was defective at one point but it does work when set to the right resolution. Also the resolution menu is labeled HD which is sort of misleading because only the highest resolution setting is HD but it really doesn't matter. For a cheap endoscope for hobby use you cant beat it.
