    In a test the battery powered the robot for 30 minutes. This is 18% of the run time produced by a third party battery which I recently bought for about the same price.

    Unclear what point you are making? Official Lego EV3 packs are manufactured from A-Grade battery cells with a priority on safety, not maximum capacity. These packs were manufactured using 2014 year cells, so whatever was going to state of the art in capacity is going to be vastly different from some 3rd party B-Grade or C-Grade battery pack sold in 2025. If you had an issue with the pack, we would have gladly taken the full return including shipping, but you never contacted us.
