This is what I chose to do, however Japan Industrial Standards (JIS) are not widely accepted here in the US and even though some motorcycle components are used in the US, compliance is not guaranteed. this helmet is only sanctioned by JIS, something I would had considered before I purchased it if I had known. Part 2 came in the form of a shipping catastrophe, no HS-7, and Duty fees.
