There was enough shipping charged that tracking could have been added. Also, when mailing comics, you never put it in a manila envelope with no card backing or between cardboard. USPS drivers don’t really pay much attention to “Do Not Bend” stamped on the envelope. For future mailings of comics, they make cardboard mailers specially made for that purpose to protect the collectible.
