    It wasn't the most functional switch. Key was hard to insert, but it would turn easily. Tested OK. Missing a backing plate and screw for the electronics at far end of switch. Turned out that removable part was all I needed to fix my own switch, so I didn't have to cut my switch from steering column (tall bolts are sawn off at factory to prevent easy removal of switch). I'm satisfied that I still got the part that I needed, but would not have been happy if I had needed a working key mechanism.
