    When I first got the drive, it would not read any disks. I don't know if got damaged in shipping. I opened the drive, with some effort. I found the when the drive was in the closed position, the drive door mechanism was pushing on the floppy so hard, that it was not able to spin. I adjusted the mechanism by bending it, until the disk spun freely. Once the disk was spinning, the drive was able to read and write to the disk. I got it back together, and everything works great.
