The item appeared to be in excellent shape (like new) but unfortunately the delicate cycle did not function. The delicate cycle did start but the timer did not wind down. It would continue to run forever until it was shut down manually. That was the problem with my original timer and the first timer I purchased as well. I do not fault the seller. By this I am beginning to think that the timer was not at fault. I am satisfied with this purchase and
