      It seems like there should be two connecting screws to hold the plate really steady, but only one came with it. It does fit my Singer301 as described. The shipping was slow because the postal service ain’t what it used to be. They “tried to deliver”, but said they couldn’t on a perfectly sunny day due to “inclement weather.” Not seller’s fault. Maybe could choose a different shipper.

      I am sorry the postal service had a difficult time getting the item to you. We have had excellent luck with them normally. We also had quite a spell of in climate weather so unsure if this was part of the hold up? We try to ship very quickly and appreciate you did say it was delayed through no fault of ours.
