W.C. Fields is in top form in this comedy of errors about a drunken inventor who tries to sell his brand of bullet-proof tires to corporate America. In the process, he manages to offend his daughter's future mother-in-law with his mannerlessness, which effectively kills the engagement in its tracks. Somehow it all ends up with lassoed ostriches, pies and princesses and some decidedly non-bullet-proof police tires.
