Note that you still need the Thunderbolt header on the mobo, even though this card is USB4. It also needs an up-to-date BIOS and only works in a specific PCIe slot, so make sure to check the manual for your specific board. As of Linux 6.14.0, there are compatibility issues with this card on Linux. This appears to be issues with the Linux Thunderbolt/USB4 driver and the ASMedia 4242 chipset. Appears to be under current development.
