Product Information
Although not as refined as either, Wing War is a cross of sorts between Joust and Defender. Players continuously tap a button to keep a fireball-shooting dragon in flight. The objective is to score points by killing bats, birds, demons and other creatures. Destroying these enemies creates fire, air and water crystals, which grant the dragon extra firepower and defensive strength. A fireball-throwing Rock Demon guards the entrance to a cavern, wherein lies a special diamond treasure and the potential to earn extra lives. Nonlinear, thumb-numbing gameplay makes this side-scrolling shooter fun, but tiring.
