    For not being fitted in person the Montrose coat fits well. The vest also is a good fit and much lighter than the 100% heavy wool one I've been using for casual wear on our triple digit (37 + C) days. Your service has been excellent.

    This Montrose jacket is advertised as being made of serge wool. It is not. It is not clear exactly what material it is, but one could hazard a guess that it is a poor-quality man-made fibre. It is virtually see though with the sun behind it and has no warmth at all. It is poorly tailored with insufficient belt loops and epaulettes placed too far back on the shoulder. Sad to say that this is an unwearable waste of money.
