All you will get is a strong burning smell when you plug it in. It is very different from the original part. All is not lost though if you can desolder the two window switches they can be used in the main drivers side switch unit or any of the passenger door switches. Doing this and using one of the toggle knobs solved my issues but as said don't buy for an Australian Car.
