Great little saw for branches up to 4”diameter, and so much easier than starting a petrol saw when cutting back a 400 m hedge. Makita Battery lasted about 40 cuts and with a spare on charge, no holdup. Good thumb press chain oiler. All told a great experience

Bought it to chop up the wood for the woodstoves but have also been putting it through its paces a bit pruning the trees we've been felling. Good saw would highly recommend it. Only thing I would point out but this is only because I was pruning sticky leylandii is the chain area can get blocked up with debri. So long as you keep an eye on that you are ok. But if you are not working as a tree surgeon with it you won't have that problem! Good saw.
