I just open the packaging thinking all was good right everything except the extra piece on the light it self. Now the return date has expired. What to do?

Thought it might be the wiring or the ballast? Didn’t think it was going to be the bulb. Good thing I kept the cold ones just in case. Over all there were brighter then stock and fit like oem. This was my first time buying from this company, think next time I’m going to shop with another company.
