You WILL have to clean the old Kosmoline and paint off before using inside or it will melt and stink. I made a circular steel mesh to burn wood as a backup fuel. Wood burns hotter so you HAVE to burn the coating off the stove and the zinc out of the flue. Build a big fire and stay back and maybe warn the neighbors. It will smell like a tire fire. Then I repainted everything with bbq paint. Used motor oil works but had to thin it out with gas.
