    Contacted seller, they replied and answered my question. Drive works great, powered up after I connected external power source. If using in external case, external power adaptor is required. Connected to Beelink Seri5 via external sata adaptor with external power adaptor and spinned to life. Drive will not power up without external power source probably because its designed for servers. Also drive is larger than normal Sata sized drives so will not fit in standard 2.5 external cases.
