In "Darksiders II," the end of days is upon us. As the war between the angels and the demons rages on, the four horsemen have come to Earth. As Death, it's your job to provide the innocence of your brother War and resurrect humanity. While your journey will take you to Earth, you'll travel to other realms in your quest. You'll meet an array of characters, both good and evil. Twists and turns await in this story, with friends becoming enemies and vice versa. "Darksiders II" was developed by Vigil Games and published by THQ. These PlayStation 3 games had a release date of 2012 for all regions."Darksiders II" is an open-world, action role-playing game. To traverse this massive world, Death will use a variety of methods. In addition to running and swimming, he will learn to climb structures and run along walls. A special grappling hook will allow you to swing to new locations. The Voidwalker gun lets you create portals from one place to the next. You'll even gain the ability to possess other characters. Your horse, Despair, allows you to quickly traverse any terrain. You'll want to explore each location thoroughly for quests and other items. If you ever get lost, you can summon your raven, Dust, to guide you to your objective.Eventually, you'll need to participate in combat games against otherworldly foes. Death has a number of combat abilities at his disposal. You will wield a number of weapons in your quest, ranging from swords and spears to guns. You can combine your combat abilities into combos that deal additional damage to any enemy. You can learn new combos from various trainers scattered across the land. As you kill enemies, you'll earn new weapons and armor along with experience. Gain enough experience, and you can increase both your health and your attack power. Among your powers is a Wrath meter that fills from dealing damage. When the meter is full, you can turn into your true form. For a short time, this form will let you defeat the enemy forces with ease.The limited edition of this title features content you won't find anywhere else. The limited edition of this title comes in a shiny case, signifying its limited status at a glance. You'll also get access to the in-game "Argul’s Tomb" content. This content features over two hours of new gameplay. In this tomb, players will have to stop an evil as old as time itself. You'll also find weapons and armor in this tomb that are only available within its walls.This "Darksiders" title for the PS3 has a rating of M for Mature. This rating is due to the violence and content found within the title. Even if you haven't played the first "Darksiders" title, you can still follow the story easily. The game's fast-paced combat will have action fans enjoying this video game from start to finish.
