Limited colored vinyl LP pressing. Rising up as the Godfather of Goth as the singer of Bauhaus, Murphy began his solo career in '85, only enhancing his reputation as one of rock's most commanding vocalists. His solo debut (1986) maintains some of that haunting Bauhaus sound, but there's an infectious swagger to his vocals here (over guitar parts and drum-machine beats that he put down himself). This sweet-looking blue vinyl pressing includes "Canvas Beauty" (Romance Version), "The Light Pours Out of Me" (Magazine cover), "Blue Heart," "Final Solution" (Pere Ubu cover) the title track and more! Beggars Banquet.
