Front cover is easier to keep clean as its plastic. It's bigger and I have found it easier to use than the original. It opens out flat so you can read it and operate the camera as you do so. Unlike the original manual which will close as soon as you let go of the pages. It's a pity the original manuals aren't made like this. Highly recommended.
