    my accoustic dobro generates lots of volume on its own but I wanted to find out how I could produce even more volume. This pickup sits flat subtly tucked out of the way at the end of the neck between the sound holes. Very discreet with just enough wire to go round the outside of the instrument. I had to fashion my own device to hold the lead or jack to the pin that holds the end of the strap. Very discreet and I did not have to go through the inside of the instrument to install. Happy!
