Product was as described but not exactly what I was looking for, it doesn't really work well for a bigger man with a solo seat, although, nowhere did it show it used as a solo backrest without the passenger seat on top of it. I will modify the bracket and be satisfied for my personal fitment.

"Remove plastic cowl from rack. 2) Place backrest where cowl was removed. 3) Using supplied bolts install backrest assembly". When I followed those instructions, the black metal base-plate wasn't long enough to span the gap and left an ugly unfinished area of the cycle exposed. I reinstalled the plastic and mounted the plate on top. The finish quality of the leather wasn't symmetrical and bulged on one side. But Good for the money
