    This does not come with a fixing screw, so you need a 4mm set screw if yours got damaged, removing the old stat. Otherwise it was a straight swap until I encountered the 90 deg shift difference mentioned elsewhere. At the moment I am living with it, but in the future I will cut through the knob shaft and rejoin it 90 degrees from norm. As this looks the easy fix. The new part has been performing quite well other than the dial being wrong. Delivery was quick too.
