About this product
Product Information
Inuyasha: A Feudal Fairy Tale is a 2D fighting game starring characters from Rumiko Takahashi's manga and anime series, Inuyasha. The story revolves around 15-year old high school student Kagome Higure, who inadvertently slips back in time to feudal Japan, where she becomes embroiled in a quest to locate shards of the Sacred Jewel of the Four Souls. "Feudal Fairy Tale," the game's main mode of play, follows this escapade and requires players to engage in a series of battles and mini-games in order to obtain the coveted shards. Initially, only Kagome and her half-demon companion Inuyasha are playable, but as players journey through the game, acquiring shards, more characters become available.<br><br>Each character is able to perform both strong and weak attacks, as well as throws and counter attacks. Players can also execute more powerful combination maneuvers, including special and super attacks, which can only be initiated when the Spiritual meter is filled. Additionally, specific attacks can cause opponents to drop shards that, once claimed, will fill the Spiritual meter more quickly.<br><br>"Versus Fairy Tale" allows players to fight against a single opponent, either human- or computer-controlled. Similarly, "Dream Fairy Tale" offers play against a human or computer opponent, but here each fighter is aided by a second character that can be switched in and out of play, as in such titles as Marvel Vs. Capcom and Tekken Tag Tournament. "Myoga's Training" provides for those who wish to practice their fighting skills, while "Shippo's Seven Changes" offers a handful of game options. Lastly, the "Backpack" mode features unlockable artwork and allows players to alter character voices, play mini-games, and listen to the soundtrack and voice-work from the game.

- 0***0 (250)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseArrived extremely fast, and the packaging was great. The game was inside a nice plastic sleeve and the seller bubble wrapped the game before putting it into the bubble mailer. That extra little bit of rare effort was greatly appreciated. Condition was exactly as seen in photos. The game was $10 over market value, so it definitely wasn't a deal/steal. Buyers: Buy with confidence.
