Based on the popular character brought to life in 1977 by greeting card illustrator Muriel Fahrion, the original Strawberry Shortcake was a doll with a pet cat named Custard. Thirty-two characters later with fruit dessert-themed names, matching clothing, and pets, Strawberry Shortcake became a hit fad in the United States. In 'Get Well Adventure', Strawberry Shortcake sings songs and tells stories to her friend Honey Pie Poney while she is confined to bed to recover from an injury. Get up and dance to Berry Tunes with Strawberry Shortcake, Ginger Snap, Angel Cake and crew.
